H1B/H4 Drop Box scheduled - Employer change
Hello Nice folks,
Me and my wife have scheduled a drop box appointment for my H1B and her H4 based on my current employer petition. I am expecting an offer from a new employer.
1) We plan to travel and get our visa stamped with current employer. I plan to resign after my return to US.
2) Can the new employer initiate the H1 Transfer, After Drop box/stamping but before I return back to US?
- Will this cause the H1B transfer to need consular processing?
3) What is the impact of this after I come back and decide to switch jobs?
