Hi,
I did not notice that my I94 had expired last year in jun 2021 and found out only when I was applying for H1b renewal in feb 2022. My last entry was in feb 2020 and h1b visa is valid till sept 2022. but i guess I got a shorter I94 because of my passport expiry in 2021. Company applied for H1b renewal with NPT but we got back an RFE asking us to prove extraordinary circumstances. I am trying to argue Covid and inability to travel abroad due to pandemic.
Has anybody got/heard of a similar situation. Any pointers on how to respond to RFE and next options appreciated! Thanks
