Hello,
I am currently on L1 visa and was selected in 2022 3rd lottery. My employer mailed the H-1B petition documents to USCIS on 21st February via express delivery courier service. The documents are supposed to reach USCIS on 22nd but they were delayed and delivered on 24th February due to crew issues because of COVID19. USCIS did not accept my case and returned the documents back to my employer as they reached after the due date for H1B petition which is 23rd February.
My employer is planning to refile the case stating that the delay at courier end because of the pandemic. Please advise if this is a feasible solution and what supporting documents are required to refile the case.
