Need help in extending H1B visa/Has never entered US

Hi,

I am from Bangalore. My H1B visa is stamped on 16th April 2008.

I am not able to land in US because of bad market conditions.

My H1B is going to expire on 25th September 2010. I would like to know is there any possibility to extend my visa from India only not even entering to US atleast once.

Please give me your suggestions.

You will have to just file for new H1 with the same or new employer.
