The USCIS website states "You do not need to have had F-1 status for the one full academic year; you can satisfy the “one full academic year” requirement even if you had another nonimmigrant status during that time." I am in H1B status but completing a full-time Masters degree while in H1B status.
Can I apply for OTP upon completion of my Masters degree in June 2022 while in H1B status or do I need to change status to F1 and then apply for OTP? Thanks.
