H1B transfer without entering US

Hello,

I have a valid H1B until Sep 2011 which got approved in 2008. It is not stamped and my employer said he cannot bring me to the US to the bad market conditions.

In this case can this be transferred to any other employer who is ready to take over ?

If yes what would be the documentation needed ?

What is the approximate time period taken for this process to complete ?

---- Yes, you can have your H1 transferred to a newe company for the remaining period of your H1

If yes what would be the documentation needed ?

---- The same as applying for fresh H1. There is no difference excepting that it is termed as a H1 transfer

What is the approximate time period taken for this process to complete ?

---- It takes about 3-4 months before you get the approval notice. If you premium process it you will get a response from USCIS within 2 weeks
