H1-B restrictions

Hello all,

I was wondering how stringent the H1-B laws are regarding one's job role? For example, I have a Master's degree in Construction Management but I've realized I'm a lot more interested in Data Analytics. My current job title is that of Construction Administration Project Manager but there is a little bit of Data Analytics related work included in my job role. Very little, however. Would it omegle pose any issues if I were to join a construction company or a government agency as a full-time Data Analyst?

Changing your role with the existing employer is probably not a big issue. If you want to go to a different employer, then they would need to first get the job that you want to work in certified, and then have to show that you have skills to do it (and that they were unable to fill it with US nationals).
