I have had a tough experience with a months-long wait in my home country in administrative processing during my earlier days in F-1 status, while renewing that visa.
Now, I'm in H-1B and looking to get the stamp. I'm trying to figure out the best practices to avoid being in administrative processing again...
I have a pending PERM application with US Department of Labour - will it be at all helpful to wait until that is approved? Or to wait for a different stage in the green card process, per your experiences as group members?
(Note: I have already asked immigration lawyers associated with my company - they did not have a firm answer.)
