Hi, I am in a bit of an interesting situation, I did a quick research online and couldn't find any good solutions. Currently working for Company A on an L1 visa valid through mid-April 2022. Have had an approved H1 from the same company since last year, however, the H1 is not active (stamping pending). The company file for an L1 to H1 transfer recently under premium and received an RFE. The company is in the process of responding back to the RFE but I do have very little time left on my L1 (about 2 weeks).
My questions:
1. What happens if the L1 to H1 transfer case goes beyond the L1 expiry, is there a grace period to stay, or do I have to leave immediately
2. Could I continue working for Company A since the H1 is already approved and the transfer application is in process
3. What happens if in the worst case I receive a rejection, do I immediately have to leave, or do I have a grace period
