Urgent: Filling DS-160 for my wife who is in India

Hi,
I'm going to India to get my H1B visa renewed along with my wife's H-4 Visa who is already in India from few weeks, my question is, is it OK for me to fill my wife's DS-160 application and sign it electronically? Or there would be a problem if I do so, has anyone done this before for their wife who was not in US? Please answer this question your responses will be greatly appreciated.

---- Yes you can complete the DS-160 form while you are in the US and you will be completing the DS-160 for your wife although she may be in India. The place of completing the form does not make any difference

One more question Subramanya ,
In my DS-160 where it asks "Do you have any relatives in US other than parents?" I answered "Yes - my spouse", although she is in India from last 3 weeks visiting her parents but she has been living with me in US from past 2 years after marriage and will join me in US after our visa interview and so for me she lives in US. Did I made a mistake by answering 'Yes' to this question?

The place can make a difference. The 160 website clearly states that they can track the location (at least city/country) of where the form was filled. You can certainly fill the form, but mention your name in form prepared by section.

I was reading below thread..if husband fills DS160 form and submits for wife ..will it be any pRoblem..what should wife should says if visa officer ask question about who filed visa application and where it was filed..as form say, applicant needs electronically sign and submit, can wife say that she prepared herself and submitted with the help of husband?
