VAC holiday missed appointment

Hello all,

My fiance went today to submit her dropbox documents to Bengaluru VAC (her appointment was in Delhi but since dropbox can be done at any location she went to Bengaluru).
But Bengaluru VAC was closed due to an observed holiday and she was not able to submit it today.

She is told her appointment will be a NO SHOW and she can reschedule the appointment in 24-48 hours.

I wanted to check if anybody else faced this issue or if anybody had a NO SHOW case due to other circumstances and had rescheduled?
How much time does it take the reschedule? Are there any other alternatives people have tried?

Hi - It was the same case with my spouse as well. I called support us travel docs and they said there is an intimation to Bangalore and Kochi center to accept Apr 14th appointments on Monday 18th at the same scheduled time as previous. Call the customer service center to confirm once again. hope this helps

getthejobdone we are like 10-15 people in similar situation, May 16th appointment, Delhi VAC was closed due to holiday. Can you please share the outcome of your case. Did you get your documents submitted on Apr 18 as Manju1986 mentioned. Your reply would provide some relief to us.
