My wife and I are both H1B holders before our marriage. We got married in India and also registered our marriage there. We have our marriage certificate with us. We had a couple of questions for those who have already been through this process:
- Do we need to register/solemnize our marriage in USA?
- Can we file joint taxes based on our marriage certificate from India?
- For all our Immigration Processes (I-140), will our Indian marriage certificate work?
- Do you think it is wise to remarry again in US (civil) and use that as a document for future immigration purpose
