Different work location than the primary for a few days - Do I need H1B Amendment

Hi!

I am currently on my H1B with a PERM filed in January 2022. I am hoping to hear something for the PERM by June/July 2022. My boyfriend lives in a different city and I am trying to move to his city for a brief amount of time in the meantime and work in a dental office there. Can I file for a MSA amendment and do so for 4 weeks? Does that affect my PERM?

Anyone have experience with it or can help?
