I saw last two days of Dec yesterday.. so should be anytime now. I usually check between 8-9pm central.

Mumbai visa date Dec end

Hi,
i am trying for Dec end dates in mumbai counsulate. But no luck from past 2 weeks. Any suggestion for the time they open?

Please post here if visa dates are open for the date 27-dec at chennai..I saw when they are open till 24-dec but not after that....

Visa Date December 2010

@ All:

I want to come to H1B Visa Stamping in last Week of December 2010 to Mumbai.This is my First H1B Visa Stamping. I am monitoring this Earliest Visa Appointment Date schedule since long but its not showing much for Mumbai.. It Shows for all the consulates except Hyderabad and Mumbai.. They have started showing first week of Jan for Kolkata and chennai.. But for mumbai they are not Releasing the dates as quickly and in more amounts as other consulates..

Last I saw was of 20th Dec for Mumbai at 7:45pm (CST) time on 13th December 2010 and it was jst there for like couple of minutes and then flashed off..and its showing same damn kolkata and chennai and new dehli again and again..

I called up VFS Mumbai they said they dont have any control over the Visa dates as its been released by Consulate they told me to wait and watch.. I asked them can I go to another consulate they said as its your first H1B its better u go to Mumbai your regional consulate. And sO I am watching these calenders each and every day morning and night..

Also replying to thread ahead:

I would like to say that If you are going for first time H1B Visa Stamping after f1visa-opt as like me select the first option A Resident of India/Bhutan..i called up VFS on this and they said the second option is availiable to you if you already have an H or L stamp on your visa...I said it says if you are applying for H and L visa you can select the second option he said no select the first option thats right and then book it as it will ask you the state of residence and will give you your regional consulate to go..I also have a written mail from VFS asking me to to select the First Option..

One more thing I wanted to ask you guys...

Can I go to any other consulates apart from Mumbai for my first H1 Visa Stamping???.. and if I go I have to fill up again DS -160 submitting in the respective consulate or the same DS-160 which I submitted for Mumbai will be good??...Please Advice...


Please post anything you guys come to know about Visa Dates for Mumbai in Dec 2010 End or Jan 2011 First Week..

back to showing dec 22-23 for delhi!

Late last night it was showing Dec 30 for Delhi.. I still haven't seen a Jan slot for Delhi.. Should be anytime now !
