Travel on old visa

Hi All, need some advice. I have a valid I797 till Feb2024 with employer B. My passport is stamped till Dec'22 with employer A. I had changed my employer from A to B in 2020 and since then never visited India to get my stamping done. With the current H1 appointment not being available, if I plan a trip to India and don't get the stamping done. By when should I re-enter US considering my visa is stamped with employer A only till Dec'22. How can this impact my I94 when I return back?

You can travel and come back with old visa. But make sure you present your latest i797 (that is from B). Ideally this will not cause any issues.
But, sometimes officer at poe may give you i94 only based on Visa. you make sure he has put right date in your passport before you leave poe counter.
