Need Clarification about booking slot

Hi,
I came to USA on H4 VISA.Then changed to F1 visa in USA.After converting to F1 visa ,I did not travel to India and now I am converting to H4 again going back to India.I am currently in USA.I would like to book a slot for it.I belong to Andhra Pradesh but since from past 4 years I have been living in USA,Can I book a slot in any consulate or do I need to attend only consulate in Hyderabad.

Any help is really appreciated.
