Hello everyone,
A friend of mine was late in filing for his H1B renewal. The USCIS received documents for H1-B extension-of-stay, 4 days after the I-94 expired. Knowing that his application would not reach in time, filed for a B2 visitor visa to not have a period of unlawful presence. Wondering if anyone had a similar experience and will be willing to share. Your help would be deeply appreciated.
