I transfered my H1B visa from Company A to B. USCIS sent the approval. My employer lost the documents and applied for the duplicates.
The USCIS people sent me the H1B approval notice without I-94 (I-797 B). But my wife got the H4 with I-94 extension. My attorney told me that it is an INS error and they will talk to INS to get it corrected.
Then they talked to INS and they said they are following the procedure they have been told to do to ge the corrected document.
How to find out whether it is really INS mistake or not?
