H1B Transfer Required?

Hi,

I have a valid H1B petition approved from both Company A and Company B(while I was in India). Presently I am in USA through Company A, my question is can I quit A and join B right away (as I have a valid approved petition) or require a H1B transfer from A to B as a mandate.

Please clarify me on this.

Best bet is to exit the country, enter using company B's petition and get a new I-94 issued in the name of company B to begin work immediately for them.
