Hi,
I am in my 6th year of H1B and have stamped my visa once (for the first 3 years ) - so the visa expiry date I see on my visa is Aug 2020 -
My 6 year term is expiring Aug 2023 and the company I work for (same company throughout ) is in the process of filing PERM / i140 & thereby h1 extension beyond 6 years ..
My question is
Say if I visit India after this new H1B petition is approved (in late 2023), for stamping what documents should I submit in dropbox - is it the latest H1 petition documents (say 2023 to 2026) or should I also attach 2020 - 2023 H1 petition documents.
Will there be any concern raised by USCIS and is there possibility of denial for not having my visa stamped for the term 2020-2023 ?
Is it even advisable to wait for the new H1B to come through so that I can stamp it for more number of years ( until say 2026 ). If I stamp this visa term I will have to get it stamped again for the term 2023 - 2026..
Forgive me if this is a pretty stupid question
Thanks
