How long it will take to get passport from embassy

Hello Friends,

I had my first H1b Visa interview on Oct25th'10 at 9:30 AM in Ottawa,Canada. The VO said to me , visa is approved we will give you a call in 2 or 3 days. I didn't receive any call from the embassy and yesterday i emailed them about my case.They said ,they didn't receive my PIMS Information.Does any body has any idea y it is taking longtime , i have DHL tracking number also. But i couldn't track it. Any Suggestions or advices please, that will be really helpful to me.

Like they have mentioned, your petition information could not be found in their PIMS system. The consulate would have requested USCIS to uploda your petition information and it would take anywhere within a week or two.
