hi - i had a previous employer who had a H1B visa approved for me in 2015 but i never got it stamped. There was a 3 year period of validity on the I797 until 2018.
I am no longer with that employer and i live and work outside the US but i am considering a role in the US. Would i need to do a full H1 process again or will my previous H1B approval help in any way?
Also, will the new work be have to be done by my new employer or can i do it myself?
