H4 visa stamping when H-1B transfer approved
Hi Folks,
I have a question regarding the H4 visa stamping for my spouse who is planning to travel to India. We both have expired visas and are in status through approved extension petitions(H1 and H4).
Now I have a new position with another company and have got the H1 transferred. I have not done the H4 petition since it has validity through 6/6/2024. In the above scenario if my spouse travels to India, will she be able to get an H4 visa stamp on her existing/old H4 approved petition? and can she utilize the dropbox option? Will there be any issues as I have changed a company and will not be traveling with my spouse? Please let me know.
