H1B - 221g issued - London Embassy recommend for revocation

Hi,

I attended my H1B interview at London embassy. I have been issued a 221g, my interview was mid June.
This week I received an email from London embassy stating they have administratively closed and sent the case to USCIS with recommendation to revoke.
I am unclear as whether my H1B journey has come to an end. When I checked with the employer, they mention that USCIS should contact them and ask them to provide any additional evidence.
However the employer are non commital whether they would support me on this process any further.

I would appreciate any help on the experience.
