Do you know if the passport number is tied to lottery selection ? My H1b application was picked up in this year’s lottery(April -2022) and is approved. However, My passport is expiring in an year. Wondering, if I should renew the passport before stamping ? If my passport number changes, will it affect the stamping result. Could you advise ? I know, we give the passport number during lottery process. So just want to ensure if changing passport before stamping is okay. Could you please share your thoughts ?
