    H1b extn after it expires

    Hi there,
    My h1b expiring in Dec 2022. I am in India now.I have completed 5 years of stay in US. If I get a job before it expires what precautions I need to address before going to port of entry?
    If I don't get a job before it expires, Can I make use of remaining 1 year in any possible way? Please suggest.
