Petitioner Alias Name on Stamping

Hi-
I received my visa stamping recently in India. But the petitioner name is different from the one in my I797A forms. When enquired at the consulate, they said it's the companies alias name. However, this alias name was not used at any place in the forms submitted. Is there any way to lookup for companies alias name online? Any advise?
