    Need help on H4 Dropbox Appointment issue

    My spouse had H4-visa dropbox appointment last month . Unfortunately even after 5 weeks, the decision is still pending- it just says "application received'. Meanwhile, I switched job recently and my h1 is now filed by new Employer and it's approved. Will this effect H4 decision?
    Any thought on the sis highly appreciated....
