H1 Job change when h4 dropbox in process

My spouse had H4-visa dropbox appointment last month . Unfortunately even after 5 weeks, the decision is still pending- it just says "application received'. Meanwhile, I switched job recently and my h1 is now filed by new Employer and it's approved. Will this effect H4 decision?
Any thought on this is highly appreciated....

I'm have the same issue as well. I haven't found a solution but wanted to speak up so they can fix the problem. ExpressHR
