  • Officer did not returned my I-129s at POE

    Hi All,

I have travelled to USA,Florida on 6th Sep. My Port of Entry was Atlanta and the officer kept my I-129 Document at POE and did not returned back to me. Now I have returned back to India from USA on 31st Oct. I have to travel again to USA.

Here I heard that I can't travel without I-129s. Can any body tell me how to get back my documents? I am worried as My visa is valid for 2 yrs 8 months.

Can anybody know email address to contact with them regarding this matter.

I am really looking for all of your help as all my tried has failed. Please suggest what to do ?

    Thanks,
    Keshab

    What?

An I-129 is a petition that is filed on your behalf as a nonimmigrant worker. When you are the beneficiary of one you get a visa in your passport. What are you actually talking about?

You do not need I129 to enter. Need I797 and valid visa.

I am not a lawyer and you need to consult with one to validate any info posted on the forum and discuss your case specifics. H1b Question? Read the FAQ first.

@keshabmondal - I am in a similar situation as you. Were you able to enter the US without a stamped I-129S?
