Visa Stamping @ Chennai Consulate.

I recently got my H1 extension approved based on my I-140 approval for another 2 years. Now i would be traveling to India and would need to get the visa stamped at chennai consulate.

Here in US i work for a reputed client through a preferred vendor. The preferred vendor has provided us a work contract which will take me until end 2012. I would be carrying this along with me. Would this suffice?

Please advise.
