Question abt DS160

Hi,
I m trying to take a visa appt for my wife. I would like to take visa appt in chennai and therefore filled ds160 for chennai. Now that dates are not available for chennai do i need to fill the form again for a new center before taking the date??

Also call/write email to the concerned VFS helpdesk/consulate and ask them for better clarity/confirmation.
