Can I work on H4 EAD renewal application if i94 is expired?

My i94 & H4 EAD expired in May. Didn't work on EAD.
Got H4 extension approval last week till 2025.
Applied for EAD renewal.Can I start working before the EAD renewal is approved as my i94 is expired?

If your Extension of Status was approved, then you got a new I-94, so your I-94 is not expired.
