My son has H4 in-person visa interview scheduled for Jan 4. He recently turned 14 years and he has to attend in person interview vs dropbox.
1. Are parents allowed to join the 14 year old while attending the interview or does he have to go alone to the interview?
2. How to collect the Passport at the consulate / OFC office the same day, as we do not have much time between visa interview date and return journey to US. ?? I know this was possible previously but i am not sure if this option is still available these days? What is the process to request to collect the passport at the OFC center, on the day of interview itself, in the afternoon.
3. His Ds-160 was filled a year back. Would it still be valid or do need a latest one?
