wondering if anyone had encountered this situation. I had my h1B and H4 visa extension dropbox submitted on November 22nd with December 5th approval for both. H4 was updated to issued status and i already picked up the passport with stamped visa. however, the H1 is still showing approval status since dec 5th and not issued. consulate is chennai and documents were dropped off at Bangalore location. Anyone faced or heard about this scenario before? Is there a possibility for H1 to go back from approved to some other status even though H4 is already stamped and pickup up? Just curious to know why the primary is facing this delay while dependent was faster. Appreciate any insights.
