How to Update H4 dependent DS-160 Number in CGI federal site on H1b profile

Hi, I and my wife have recently scheduled our visa appointments together ( H1b and H4) and later identified that the receipt/application no is wrong in my wife's DS-160. We knew that DS-160 can't be updated once it was submitted. So, after reading a few blogs we get a suggestion that we need to create a new Ds-160 and update it in "Updated Profile" on CGI federal site. But my problem is CGI federal site doesn't show the dependent DS-160 information although we both see our names in the interview Appointment's history. So, does anybody knows whom to contact or where to update my wife's latest Ds-160 no? or Is it better to reschedule my wife's interview separately with the new DS-160? what's the best approach?

If the CGI federal site doesn't display the option to update the dependent DS-160 information, it's advisable to contact the U.S. embassy or consulate where the visa interview is scheduled. Explain the situation to them and inquire about the correct procedure for updating your wife's DS-160 number. They should be able to provide guidance on whether it's possible to update the information or if it's better to reschedule the interview with the new DS-160.
