Hello everyone,
I submitted my H1B and H4 documents at dropbox location in Mumbai on Jan 24th.My wife received H4 approval and passport with visa renewed on Feb 6th. However my H1b application is refused and is under administrative processing. On Feb 10th I received my passport with a white slip indicating my application is under administrative processing and should receive an email about further steps. I haven't received any email yet.
Can anyone please let me know how much time it takes to receive an email from embassy after receiving a white slip?
Also, in such case, what is the administrative process where H4 is approved while H1B application needs further processing? Usually H4 doesnt get approved unless H1B is approved, so curious to know the reason in this case.
Any help and advice is appreciated.
