H1 renewal successful in Hyderabad

Hi All,

Just wanted to share my H1 renewal experience in Hyderabad.

Documents carried:
-Application confirmation Letter
-DS-160
-Original I-797
-HDFC original receipt
-Passport
-Client Letter
-Paystubs - all
-Bank Statements
-W2 for all years
-LCA
-H1B petition
-Company contracts with end client, Tax docs
-Letter from company addressing US consulate
-Original company appointment letter
-Educational Certificates - both original and Xerox copies
-Resume

Interview Questions asked:
-Which company are you working?
-What do you do for that company?
-Tell more about your work at the end client?
-Show "all" your paystubs
-Visa Granted

Tips:
-Saw three people getting rejected in front of me because of inadequate preparation. When VO asked for paystubs, one person took almost 5-10mins to present it. All the time VO was just sitting idle, starring at the person.
-Prepare documentation as required, cos we don't know what doc VO is going to ask
-Confident and genuine answers for questions asked

Good to hear your experience at Hyd consulate.
Trying for a date in 2nd week of dec at hyd no luck till now.
Going to India after six years and need to get H4 stamped for the first time.
(came to US on b1/b2 and changed to h1/h4).
Any more tips for the interview?

Did you submit all these documents (including contracts and tax docs) 4 days prior to the interview?
Also, do you have a vendor layer in between the client and your employer?
