1) In 2013, I got selected in the H1B cap lottery and my employer then filed a petition that was approved. But I never got it stamped and I never visited USA due to family reasons after that. Until last year, March 2022 - I came to USA on L2S visa. I haven't been working since a few years and haven't started working yet in USA. But I am looking to join job soon so my question is if I join somewhere can my new employer use the old approval and file a h1b petition under cap exempt in future. I don't have any documents or any contact with my previous employer who had filed the petition except the receipt number that was provided to me informally.
2) Also, another question is - is there any way to check the further details of the petition just with the receipt number other than the status i.e., is available on "https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do"
