Appointment scheduled with the wrong name. Will I be able to update it if I cancel?

I unfortunately made a mistake when scheduling my appointment and only realized after I received my confirmation letter that my last name is incorrect due to autofill using my email address. I know I can't change my profile since I currently have a scheduled appointment but was wondering if anyone knows if canceling it will allow me to update my last name?
