Hi,
I have a situation where my H1B maxed out in 2017 and I moved to H4 and H4EAD status and kept working in US till date; can I again go for 2024 H1 lottery ? I know that one needs to stay out of US for entire year which is not applicable to me but since I stayed in another status for a long duration, does it make me eligible to go for H1B lottery? Any helpful response would be appreciated.
