Hi All,

Good news after all. My wife got her Visa after such a long wait. She went for the interview on Dec 1 2010 and got her Visa on Feb 2 2011. It was a painful wait

In this process i contacted my local senator and asked if he could help. Her H4 Visa got approved exactly 4 days later. Not sure if calling Senator worked, but i have every reason to think so.

Status got updated on website to collect the passport ... will get to know what happened tomorrow ...
