Because of my passport expiration, the immigration team at my employer filed another H1B extension which extended my H1B beyond the sixth year. My lawyer told me I am able to get this another 3 year extension because my priority date (China EB3) is not current and I had a I-140 with my previous employer
What I worried now is that if I were to change job and priority date becomes current, am I still eligible for another H1B extension? Would the H1B transfer carry over my current validity date or a new validity date based on the circumstances then?
