DS - 160 ...UPLOADING MULTIPLE PHOTOs

I'm got my H1 Extension and planning to travel to India for Stamping in Chennai Consulate along with my wife (H4).

I have filled in DS 160 online and uploaded my photo and submitted it. Next, I hit 'Add family' option and filled in my wife details but I dont see any option to upload her photo.

Once I submit and sign, i see a note saying "photo not uploaded" in my wife's application but mine has my photo.

Now the question is, where is the option to upload photo for family members?
Did I miss something?

DS-160 is per person.

When you are filling the application for yourself, the information about accompanying family members is just for the information purposes. That is not the application for your wife.

You will have to make a separate application for your wife. Of course, the application provides the convenience so that you can copy most of the details from your application to her.

Actually when I submitted my DS 160, on the "Thank You" page, i hit "create a family application" and filled in all the spouse details and it also genereated a new application # so I believe it is her DS 160.

I'm able to retrieve my wife's ds 160 by doing a search on her application # as well but there is not option to upload her photo.

Are you saying, we need to click on "Create a family application" and do a submit ( which will give me two confirmation page - one for me and another for my wife) and also have to fill in a separate form for spouse?

That is okay. You will need to carry two passport size photographs when you go for the visa interview. The photographs should match the standard size specified in the consulate's website.
