  • H1B Stamping

    Hello,

I'm on H1B first extension period, my visa was expired on last Sep 2009 and I got the stay extension for another 3 years. Now I planned to go to India for stamping.

When my employer applied for my H1B extension, at that time I was working for a client through a vendor (Employer - Vendor - Client - Me) and right now that contract was over and I'm working for my employer with some internal projects.

So the question is, the I129 papers says that I work for that client (old one), but right now I'm working for my employer only. So is there any problem for stamping? The LCA approved paper has my employer address listed under "Place of Employment 2" . Please let me know.

    Thanks.

Your employer need to file an H1B amendment for you. Check this link.

      Thanks for the link..!

Actually I will be traveling to India on next and scheduled for a visa interview for Dec 22nd, since I have very short time available, is there any way available to get the visa stamping without any issue?

As I mentioned earlier, I was working for a client before (through a vendor) and now I'm working for my employer itself, here my job duties and position retains same since my employer and third party client are in the same business area.

Also in my LCA approved paper, both my employer and client (old one) address was listed under place of employment. So could you pls suggest me the best option?
