Need information to check case status

Hi,

My interview date was 18th Jan for 2nd time H1B stamping, got stuck in sec 221 g.
Just saw my CEAC barcode updated today in the pdf, however I have not received any mail from consulate.

Has this happened with others also, is this OK

Will submitting the passport tomorrow to VFS office. Let me know

@rks123 I had exactly the same situation. Interview date: 20 Dec, Number appeared in PDF on 11 Mar. I submitted my passport thrice and always returned with the same yellow pending letter.

I know many others in the same situation.

passport submitted: 18th March 2011
passport received: 25th March 2011 (Blue form requesting documents, Passport not stamped)
Re-Interview at mumbai Consulate : 04 April 2011
Passport Stamped: 07 April 2011

was asked around 22 quesitons asked in very strict voice all along, VO tried to grilled me towards establishing employer-employee relationship.

I hope this will be helpful.

- who is employer?
- what is your salary?
- show me 797, last 3 yrs W2, last three paystubs.
- why u dont have January Paystub? Ans: I was on vacation. I do have paystub for Feb.
- Dont you company pay you on vacation? Ans: they do but 2 weeks paid vacation is earned at the end of the year.
- how you communicate with your employer ?
- how your employer controls your work ?
- give client letter?
- give employer-Client Contract?
- can your client place you to other employer ?
- who is your immidiate superwisor?
- how often your performance evolution happen ?
- who does your performance evolution ?
- how client provide performance report to employer, how often ?
- explain your project and your role in it ?
- at what starge is your greencard process ?
Your visa is granted, you will receive stamped passport in 3 days.

Green Slip - New Delhi - 18th March

Has anyone with a Green slip from New delhi consulate around mid of march got any updates? I had received a call from the consulate 2 weeks back but no updates after that.

VFS website just says it's under processing.

I got one stating that our case is still under administrative processing. No update.

@Dec_221g I can't remember if I did reach out to them (I know I have in the past) or if they sent the mail proactively. It was from the US Consulate - not VFS; but it doesn't say anything much except that our case is still pending administrative processing! So the update is that there is no update! (keep checking the case status link on the site for our number)
