  • H1B Transfer

    Hi

Currently I am working for an employer A starting with EAD(OPT) from 2007 and then on H1B from 2008 and it still has validity till July 2011.

Recently I went to India for vacation where I was given 221g blue form and asked to submit extra documents from my Employer and it took 2 months for the whole process to complete and I came to back to US with visa stamped on November 2010.

During my stay in India(September and October 2010) I was not working and hence not paid by my employer but was able to retain my position in the client. As soon as I reached US,I reported to client and then started working on the project.

So I have all the pay stubs from 2007 till now except for Sep-Oct 2010.

I am planning to move to different company and will it be a problem during my visa transfer as they required recent pay stubs from my previous emplyer?.

    Please help.

You need pay slips only for the time spent in U.S on H1B status. When you are out of U.S you hold no status and so there is no need to have pay slips.
