hi, i’m a newly college graduate on OPT and i have a question about H1B visa. i just accepted a job offer for a full time position at a state government and they don’t seem to mind about sponsoring H1B visa before my OPT expires (gonna have to circle this conversation back with them before the application is open). do you guys think working for the state https://vlc.onl/ government (executive office, senior level position) can be considered exempt from the H1B lottery cap? thanks, i’m trying to plan my strategy here to make sure i don’t miss any important information about H1B visas.
