Need your expert advise here.
I have lost my job on H1B and could not secure a job with 60 days of grace period. I have applied for COS H1B to B2 before the grace period was over and received the receipt. Right now, I am going through interviews and hoping to get a job soon. I have approved I-140 as well.
Question is, if I secure a job, is it possible to do a COS B2 to H1B without leaving USA or do I have to leave USA for a consular processing and stamping of H1B?
