H1 to H4

Hello,

My H1B visa is expiring 0n 30-April-2011 and completing 6 years on 30-April-2011.

My Wife's H1B visa is expiring on 15-Dec-2012. she is completing 6 years on 15-Dec-2012.

here is my question.
Can I, apply for H4B and stay in US it self with my wife as dependent.

My self and my wife haven't applied for Greencard.

Please help me

Yes, you can apply for a COS from H1B to H4 before the 6th year end (before I-94 expiry date). However, you cannot work and to get a new H1B (fresh 6 year term) you will need to spend 1 year outside U.S.
